PLANET Technology, a global leading IP-based networking company, with continuous improvement in sustainable corporate governance and performance, has once again been ranked in the top 5% among the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) listed companies for the third consecutive year in the 9^th (2022) Corporate Governance Evaluation in Taiwan. Particularly, among the 288 publicly-listed companies with a market value between NTD 5 billion and NTD 10 billion, PLANET is also ranked in the top 5% of outstanding companies.

In accordance with the UN SDGs, PLANET has already met the "Corporate Governance 3.0 - Sustainable Development Roadmap" and the “2050 Net-Zero Emissions” goals, and will continue to further improve risk control so as to strengthen sustainable governance. The Vice President of PLANET has been assigned as the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in 2022 to lead the Sustainability Team to comprehensively put ESG into practice. Recently, PLANET has obtained several honors in the aspect of corporate governance, including having passed the third party audit on its first 2022 TCFD Report complied with the TCFD reporting mechanism, 2022 Sustainability Report complied with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards. In addition, it has been certified with ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Inventory, and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System. The external agency evaluation of Board performance and the talent development mechanism have been adopted to enhance the continuity of business operations. The overall excellence in ESG performance has become PLANET’s competitive advantage and part of the company’s DNA as we further develop a sustainable culture on the part of the employees and the overall operation.

The 9^th (2022) Corporate Governance Evaluation was held by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and TPEx. A total of 1,662 companies were evaluated this year, including 928 TWSE- and 734 TPEx-listed companies. The evaluation results included 46 TWSE and 37 TPEx-listed companies that were ranked in the top 5% group. A total of 288 TWSE-listed and TPEx-listed companies with a market value between NTD 5 billion and NTD 10 billion were evaluated with 14 companies being part of the top 5%.

Being once again recognized in the top 5% of the 9^th Corporate Governance Evaluation, PLANET will continue to strengthen its corporate governance and ESG performance, protecting the rights and interests of stakeholders, maintaining industry competitiveness and further enhancing sustainable corporate value.
